Nature At Hammonasset Beach

Here in southeastern Connecticut we are fortunate to have Hammonasset State Park, which is located in Madison. The beautiful walking trails attract visitors and campers from all over. In this post I will share photos I took while spending time at this beautiful state treasure. The marshes can be even more beautiful that the beach areas, displaying different colors throughout the year. Take a break, relax and enjoy the scenery!

A very strange but beautiful sky that day. The boulders are at Meig's Point ....at the far end of Hammonasset State Park

While walking, I came across this unique piece of beach art
Some sort of red succulents are exhibiting the gorgeous red color. If anyone knows the name of the plant, leave a comment.
